What is red light therapy?

Whole-body red-light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses low level red and infrared light to boost cellular function. These lights penetrate the skin to be absorbed by the mitochondria in cells. This absorption stimulates the mitochondria to produce more ATP (the energy currency of the cell).
